No one knows the way

Just me, only me.

A path, a secret way,

not you, only I can see.

It’s somewhere in between,

hidden from sight.

No one else has seen

this path I take at night.

Winding through places

never on show,

revealing faces

you cannot know.

High mountains I climb,

wide vistas I see,

outside of time

where my spirit is free.

You have your way,

it cannot be mine;

a different way

to me that is fine.

The path that I go,

that my spirit takes,

is travelled in dreams

until my mind awakes.

This wandering path

leads to where dreams begin;

where spirit meets mind,

to a place deep within.

Sometimes when I wake

my dreams I can’t see;

then the path is a secret

even from me.
