Hello! My name is Linda. I have been a writer in some form for most of my life, with many published short stories, two novels and a family history behind me. However, in recent years, my focus has been on poetry.

I discovered I could write poetry when I wanted to sharpen and tighten my story writing, and thought the discipline of the poem would serve that aim well. As I wrote more and more, I found that it was also a wonderful way for me to express my feelings in a shorter form

.

Now, twenty years after I wrote my first verses, I find it is my preferred way of expressing the variety, the wonder and joy to be found in this world and beyond, both physical and spiritual, and in all its forms.​​
