If…

If we live in love:

We won’t want to hurt others

We want what is best for all and

We want what is best for ourselves.

We won’t want to take from others

We want to share what we have

We want to share earth’s abundance.

We won’t want dominion over anyone

We want all to have choice and freedom

We want to live and let live.

We won’t want to ravage the world

We want all life to thrive and grow

We want to nurture it and gather its fruits.

If we deny love:

There is hate and anger

There is greed and envy

There is misery and want.

There is destruction instead of creation

There is desolation instead of fertility

There is friction instead of harmony.

There is darkness where there should be light

There is fear where there should be joy

There is war where there should be peace.

So, let us all work towards a world:

Where we value everyone

Where we work together

Where we share what we have.

Where nature is cared for

Where difference is valued

Where abundance is endless.

Where we live in the joy

and harmony of love. 

That is worth working for.
